ICMER2025 is the 8th international conference organised by the Faculty of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah.

The conference was intended to provide a forum for discussion, sharing and dissemination of ideas and expertise among researchers within and outside of UMPSA especially postgraduate students across Malaysia.

The conference is also an effort to foster the implementation of the latest research with a culture of innovation in the field of rapidly growing mechanical engineering technology.

The Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Sciences (JMES) is an international, peer-reviewed platinum open-access journal published by the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah, Malaysia.

The journal's scope is multi-disciplinary to bring together mechanical engineering and materials science aspects. JMES publishes original full-length research articles on analytical, computational modeling, structural mechanics, metal forming, behavior and application of advanced materials, impact mechanics, strain localization and other effects of nonlinearity, fluid mechanics, robotics, tribology, thermodynamics, and materials processing. On top of that, review articles that address significant challenges in the field and critical reviews that address and minimise knowledge gaps, provide good direction, or provide a valuable guide to the readers are also included.
